Day 02Yerevan –Amberd Fortress-Alphabet Alley -Yerevan

After the breakfast at the hotel start the trip to Aragatsotn region. We will drive towards Amberd settlement complex, comprised of medieval fortress and a church located in a quiet area on the southern slopes of the Mount Aragats, which is the highest mountain in Armenia. Amberd is located at 2300 meters above the sea level; hence the name, which means ‘fortress in the clouds’. Next stop is Alphabet Alley, where you will learn about Armenian language and letters and find your initial letters. In the evening, return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 03Yerevan - Khor Virap - Garni - Geghard

After breakfast at the hotel start volcanic rocks. First stop is near the Arch of Charents from where, the beautiful panoramic view of Ararat valley is opened. Later head to Garni Fortress, which dates to 3rd century BC and to its jewel pagan Temple of Garni, which dates to 1st AD. After that, visit Symphony of Stones – the nature created sightseeing in Garni village. It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of the volcanic rocks. Visit, Geghard Monastry & Khor Virap Monastery. Experience Lavash baking. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 04Lake Sevan + Dilijan + Haghartsin

After breakfast at the hotel travel northeast toward Lake Sevan and Dilijan region. Visit Dilijan and Stop at a bronze monument to the heroes of the classic film Mimino. Explore Haghartsin Monastery, Continue to Lake Sevan, the “Pearl of Armenia” and one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in Eurasia. Visit the historic Sevanavank Monastery perched on the peninsula overlooking Lake Sevan. Experience a boat ride across the lake to take in surrounding mountain peaks and island views. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
