Day 01Arrive Tokyo
Arrive Tokyo and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Over Night stay at Tokyo.
Day 02Excursion Trip to Nikko
After B/F, proceed for a full day trip to Nikko. Visit the Nikko Toshogu Shrine at the entrance to Nikko National Park – Japan's most lavishly decorated shrine and the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate. Later, visit the Lake Chuzenji which is well known for their beautiful autumn colors (koyo) and it’s a Lake at the foot of Mount Nanta and Kegonnotaki waterfall. The almost 100 m. tall Kegon Waterfall (Kegon no taki) is the most famous of Nikko's many beautiful waterfalls. Late evening, return to Tokyo. Over Night stay at Tokyo.
Day 03Tokyo City Tour
After B/F, visit the Asakusa Kannon Temple, Nakamise shopping street, and drive through Kappabashi, the TMG building – Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observatories where you enjoy a full view of Tokyo from 202 M. ASL and proceed for a short stop for shopping at Shinjuku. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Over Night stay at Tokyo.
Day 04Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone
After B/F, check out from
Tokyo and depart to Mt. Fuji. Upon arrival, visit Fuji Visitor Center and Mt.
Fuji 5th station and enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In the afternoon, proceed
Hakone. Ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Valley and take a cruise on Lake
Ashi (Pirate Boat). Over Night stay at Hakone.
Day 05Hakone - Nara - Kyoto
After B/F, check out from Hakone and depart to Kyoto by Shinkansen. After Lunch, proceed to Nara where you visit the Todaiji Temple with its massive Great Buddha Statue, colorful Kasuga Taisha Shrine with its 3,000 lanterns and Nara Park (Deer Park). Return back to your hotel in Kyoto. Over Night stay at Kyoto.
Day 06Kyoto
After B/F, visit Nijo
Castle, noted for its gorgeous interiors, Kinkakuji Temple with its Golden
Pavilion and Kyoto Imperial Palace (Kyoto Gosho). After Lunch, visit Heian
Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 images of Buddha, and
Kiyomizu Temple with its wooden veranda. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Over
Night stay at Kyoto.
Day 07Kyoto - Hiroshima
After B/F, check-out from
Kyoto and travel to Hiroshima by Shinkansen where you visit Miyajima Island and
Itsukushima Shrine (by ferry), Peace Memorial Park, the A-Bomb Dome, and Peace
Memorial Museum. Return to Kyoto by Shinkansen. Over Night stay at Kyoto.
Day 08Kyoto - Tokyo
After B/F, half day is at
leisure. Do some last minute shopping. Later transfer to Kyoto Station to board
a Shinkansen train departing to Tokyo. After arriving at Tokyo Station, transfer
to your hotel in Tokyo. Over Night stay at Tokyo.
Day 09Tokyo - Onward Destination Journey
After B/F, check-out from
Tokyo and transfer to Narita Airport. Board a flight departing for onward
destination journey.
