Arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport. On the way visit Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela. After B/F, visit Polonnaruwa – remains one of the best planned archaeological relic sites in the country, standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom's first rulers. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Later, visit Minnariya Safari – is famous for two things, for the great Minneriya lake build by King Mahasen and for the Minneriya wildlife sanctuary which is a hot spot for safari lovers because of the abandons of Elephants. After B/F, check out from Sigiriya and proceed to Kandy. On the way visit the Dambulla cave Temple – is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka.
