Day 01Arrive Ljubljana – Bled
Welcome to Slovenia.
Arrive to Ljubljana Airport and transfer to hotel in Bled which is around 30
mins away from Ljubljana Airport. Free time is at leisure. Over Night stay at Bled.
Day 02Bled
After B/F, take a
pletna boat to visit Bled Island with a church of St. Mary – ring a bell and
make a wish! During the day, visit Bled castle above the lake, Vintgar gorge
nature walk for active visitors or Bohinj Lake and Mt. Vogel with cable car. Over
Night stay at Bled.
Day 03Bled – Ljubljana
After B/F, check out
from Bled resort and depart to Ljubljana. On the way to Ljubljana stop in
Radovljica – for all those influenced by nostalgia, history lovers and
romantics, medieval games, secessionist architecture, museums and galleries. Later,
proceed to Ljubljana, the Capital of Slovenia. Upon arrival, check-in to your
hotel. Free time is at leisure in. Over Night stay at Ljubljana.
Day 04Ljubljana City Tour
After B/F, enjoy full
day in Ljubljana, which gives the best impression on Saturdays, when city
center is also full of local people, mixed with tourist and students living in
the city. We like to say it is sufficiently large to contain everything that a
capital should have, and small enough to preserve the individuality of its
inhabitants. It is a city with a soul, featured by the Baroque Old Town which
is nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, the Art Nouveau mansions as well as some
of the masterpieces of the world renowned architect Joze Plecnik. Visit Open
market, Castle and Old town. Later, spend some time for great shopping in the
city center. Over Night stay at Ljubljana.
Day 05Ljubljana – Postojna Cave – Portoro
After B/F, check-out
from Ljubljana hotel and proceed to Postojna Cave – one of Slovenia's most
spectacular natural sights which is around 40 mins by road and it consists of a
27 Km. underground system of passages, tunnels, galleries and chambers with
wonderful dripstones, which has in almost 200 years been visited by over 33
million people accompanied by experienced cave guides. The caves, also famous
for providing home to an amphibian salamander endemic to subterranean waters of
southern Europe, can be viewed from a small cave train. It is both the largest
cave of the Classical Karst and the show cave with the largest numbers of
visitors in Europe. Continue to Portoro which is an hour away. Upon arrival,
check-in to your hotel. Over Night stay at Portoro.
Day 06Portoro – Piran City
After B/F, visit
Piran – you should take a closer look at its architecture, influenced by the
Venetian Republic, clustered medieval structure narrow winding streets, houses
huddled close together, rising in cascades, the contact with the sea, numerous
squares and churches. Portoro offers sandy beaches, many beach bars and night
clubs, Casinos and boutique shops. Over Night stay at Portoro.
Day 07Portoro – Air – Onward Destination Journey
After B/F, check-out
from Portoro and transfer to the airport to take a flight departing for onward
destination journey.
